Warwick Park Badminton Club would like to acknowledge with thanks the receipt of financial assistance from the Foundation for Sport and the Arts to the tune of £2000 for the purpose of promoting junior badminton at the club.

Warwick Park Badminton Club is a voluntary club formed in 1983 to forge a link between Warwick Park School, Warwick Park Youth Centre and the Peckham Community. Its foundation was laid in the previous year at the old Peckham Manor School prior to its amalgamation with three other local secondary schools. Although members of the club have had some sort of links with the school in the past, membership is now open to the general public.

"We attempt to promote social education among young people and, through badminton, foster a spirit of healthy competition."

One of the most noticeable aspects of the club is the multi-racial nature of its membership. As a reflection of this fact we always try to implement an equal opportunity policy. Another remarkable feature of the club is the friendliness of its members.
